Hey I'm back!!

I haven't been on here for over a week! How did I survive?

I survived because I was busy on a camping holiday with my family. Internet was pretty rubbish so I didn't even attempt to blog as all it would do is use up all my mobile data and all my phone battery. Charging phones etc is hard work when camping with no electricity! Camping in the U.K. can be a bit challenging even in the summer as the weather can be a bit unpredictable. Our first night was a bit wet, it rained heavily for most of the evening and night so when we got up in the morning there was a little bit of flooding. ![IMG_7288.JPG](http://ift.tt/2wCZM6z) ![IMG_7289.JPG](http://ift.tt/2vK7sHT) Thankfully my family and I was all ok and stayed dry. For a couple of days we had some warm sunny with a bit of cloud days. We played silly games like football cricket, football tennis, crazy golf and football golf. ![IMG_7312.JPG](http://ift.tt/2wDhyqk) ![IMG_7347.JPG](http://ift.tt/2vKqu0F) ![IMG_7338.JPG](http://ift.tt/2wDnzUb) ![IMG_7393.JPG](http://ift.tt/2vK4bIN) The next few days were very windy which was a bit of a pain as we couldn't sit outside or go to the beach. We had to go sit up the clubhouse and play cards, pool, table tennis and go swimming. We enjoyed a few beers whilst we were there! ![IMG_7368.JPG](http://ift.tt/2wDaFFp) The last day was a good day. The weather was ok. We went to play football golf and I got a hole in one. ![IMG_7417.JPG](http://ift.tt/2vKk4P9) We had a BBQ to end the day. ![IMG_7418.JPG](http://ift.tt/2wD9y8S) ![IMG_7424.JPG](http://ift.tt/2vKwt5A) So that is a summary of my week away camping, my adventures didn't stop when I got home as the following day I completed a 10k race. To find out more follow me to see more blogs about my running and food habits. Thanks for looking Happy reading peeps 🖤

The pool was freezing! - Fuerteventura #03

Another day of getting out of bed with a smile. I really could get used to waking up to the sun. Breakfast is my favourite meal of the day when it comes to all inclusive holidays. I cannot resist a good old fry up! ![IMG_20171123_085826.jpg](http://ift.tt/2ji9uqb) We got some ideal sunbeds this morning. Even after all the considerate people reserving them with their towels haha. We laid down for some sun time after a big breakfast. ![Snapchat-1031549590.jpg](http://ift.tt/2A7kPRI) I decided to brave the swimming pool. The sun shines hot but there never seems to be anyone in the pool. And I found out why! ![IMG-20171122-WA0002.jpg](http://ift.tt/2jjBhpY) It was freezing!!!! I also recorded me jumping in on my GoPro and uploaded to instagram. You can see my reaction on the video. Click the link below to watch the video: http://ift.tt/2A7kRci We planned another walk today again after lunch. So just enough time for a lunch glass of red. ![IMG_20171123_130331.jpg](http://ift.tt/2jiASnQ) We ...

Countdown to my First Marathon - 126 days to go [4/50 #fiftyrunstillmay]

It’s Saturday This Means Parkrunday I usually love doing Parkrun but today I wasn’t feeling it. It was very cold and I really struggle with my breathing when it’s so cold. The run is supposed to start at 9am but because some of the paths were icy we had to wait whilst the volunteers gritted them. Which made me feel even colder! Today was my 48th Parkrun, I was hoping to get my 50th run before the end of the year as it’s a big milestone at Parkrun even though there are 2 more Saturdays this year I’ve got to work both of them so I’m a bit gutted! My run was sort of part of my training plan, I’ve just shuffled things around a bit and it was a little less time than I should of done. I did Tuesdays run today and Sundays run on Thursday as I have a race tomorrow. A Santa dash, only a 5k again. ![D61C3041-6908-443B-A914-247A42928AFE.jpeg](http://ift.tt/2k44t5u) Going back to today’s run, it was a bit of a struggle but thanks to another runner who ran with me from about the 4k mark kept me g...
