Week #3 Holiday Blues

No Monday morning feeling this week as I woke up in my tent with still 2 more days of camping ahead. I set up the camera to catch a lovely time lapse, which you can see in this Vlog. We played Football golf, yes you heard right Football golf. Now if you haven't heard of this before it is quite literally golf but using a football of which you have to kick into the giant hole on the green. Such an amazing idea but not so good when we where located on a cliff edge with gale force winds. The best part was I actually won but overall was such a laugh, we will definitely be playing again.

I caught a lovely sun set over the Wash and what stunning view it was. I was just in awe. The amazing thing about Hunstanton is that it is the only beach West facing on the East coast. Work that one out.

The worst thing happened to me on Tuesday. I was enjoying a delicious Fruity Cider, when I got a massive shock. There was a pesky little Wasp inside my Cider and it only went and stung my tongue!

Wednesday was time to go home from our family camping trip. Apart from the obvious holiday blues I started to suffer from, there was another sad feeling I felt. Thursday had almost come and my little Clio was being scrapped. We had a good 4 years together but still was sad times watching her be towed away on the back of a lorry.

Thursday was actually an awesome day. I had lots of things to do and started it of with the best possible beginning to a day and that's a lovely morning run. I went round a friends for dinner on Thursday for a BBQ. I tried a meat I've never tried before Ostrich. It was surprisingly delicious. I ended the evening with a pleasant stroll down to an old Roman fort to capture some snaps and watch the sunset over the broads.

I sat there for a good hour, with this view you can't really blame me. I was in Heaven.

Another weekend of working to end the week. It was a shame I was working as the Football started this weekend but it soon flew past. Time to bring on another week of fun!

The highlight of this week has to be Thursday. It was a roller coaster day with the loss of my car but then was an amazing day with my friend and then ending the day with a relaxing evening watching the sunset.

The pool was freezing! - Fuerteventura #03

Another day of getting out of bed with a smile. I really could get used to waking up to the sun. Breakfast is my favourite meal of the day when it comes to all inclusive holidays. I cannot resist a good old fry up! ![IMG_20171123_085826.jpg](http://ift.tt/2ji9uqb) We got some ideal sunbeds this morning. Even after all the considerate people reserving them with their towels haha. We laid down for some sun time after a big breakfast. ![Snapchat-1031549590.jpg](http://ift.tt/2A7kPRI) I decided to brave the swimming pool. The sun shines hot but there never seems to be anyone in the pool. And I found out why! ![IMG-20171122-WA0002.jpg](http://ift.tt/2jjBhpY) It was freezing!!!! I also recorded me jumping in on my GoPro and uploaded to instagram. You can see my reaction on the video. Click the link below to watch the video: http://ift.tt/2A7kRci We planned another walk today again after lunch. So just enough time for a lunch glass of red. ![IMG_20171123_130331.jpg](http://ift.tt/2jiASnQ) We ...

Countdown to my First Marathon - 126 days to go [4/50 #fiftyrunstillmay]

It’s Saturday This Means Parkrunday I usually love doing Parkrun but today I wasn’t feeling it. It was very cold and I really struggle with my breathing when it’s so cold. The run is supposed to start at 9am but because some of the paths were icy we had to wait whilst the volunteers gritted them. Which made me feel even colder! Today was my 48th Parkrun, I was hoping to get my 50th run before the end of the year as it’s a big milestone at Parkrun even though there are 2 more Saturdays this year I’ve got to work both of them so I’m a bit gutted! My run was sort of part of my training plan, I’ve just shuffled things around a bit and it was a little less time than I should of done. I did Tuesdays run today and Sundays run on Thursday as I have a race tomorrow. A Santa dash, only a 5k again. ![D61C3041-6908-443B-A914-247A42928AFE.jpeg](http://ift.tt/2k44t5u) Going back to today’s run, it was a bit of a struggle but thanks to another runner who ran with me from about the 4k mark kept me g...
