Week #4 Time for change

I already knew this week was going to be a good one. Why? You may ask. Monday morning was my first day in my new job role. Systems support analyst sounds so prestigious. It is on a secondment basis at present but gives me great optimism for the future.

My first 'day in the office' went brilliant. I learnt a lot and more importantly enjoy myself. It is a big task I have taken on but where is the fun in an easy job?

Tuesday I had a day off and well deserved I must add. I started the day in one of the best possible ways.... Coffee

Oh and Carrot cake of course!

With a slice of my newly promoted favourite cake (just taking over cheesecake) in my belly I was ready for a productive day. Filming was on the agenda and lots of it. I set up the Digital SLR and tripod and successfully filmed some content for my YouTube channel and also some content to be used in some Collaboration work I'm doing with other YouTubers. With all the filming done I even managed to get time to pop to the Bakery with a friend to indulge some delicious cakes. Anyone would think I have a sweet tooth...

I seemed to have had a new spring in my step this week and a change in your work can do that. I feel happy and satisfied with work which is always integral to a happy brain. I had this weekend off so straight after work on Friday what better way to celebrate then to go and embrace the Seafront and all its Glory.

The weekend started with a little session at the Driving Range, I was surprised how I could manage to hit it quite far considering it had been years since I last attempted to hit a ball with a driver. Followed up by a KFC you can't go wrong. We popped out to play some Ten Pin Bowling before dinner. Overall we had an amazing day, it almost felt like we where pretending to be Holiday makers. Oh and of course I won at bowling...

This week had been one of the best. Career wise I'm moving in the right direction and I spent a lot of time with friends and family. Everything that makes me happy in life. My highlight of this week is difficult because I had so many amazing moments but it will have to be my first day in my new role at work. This brings me optimism for the future in a line of work I know I will excel in. Here is the Vlog of the day I started my new role and until next Sunday keep living the dream!!

The pool was freezing! - Fuerteventura #03

Another day of getting out of bed with a smile. I really could get used to waking up to the sun. Breakfast is my favourite meal of the day when it comes to all inclusive holidays. I cannot resist a good old fry up! ![IMG_20171123_085826.jpg](http://ift.tt/2ji9uqb) We got some ideal sunbeds this morning. Even after all the considerate people reserving them with their towels haha. We laid down for some sun time after a big breakfast. ![Snapchat-1031549590.jpg](http://ift.tt/2A7kPRI) I decided to brave the swimming pool. The sun shines hot but there never seems to be anyone in the pool. And I found out why! ![IMG-20171122-WA0002.jpg](http://ift.tt/2jjBhpY) It was freezing!!!! I also recorded me jumping in on my GoPro and uploaded to instagram. You can see my reaction on the video. Click the link below to watch the video: http://ift.tt/2A7kRci We planned another walk today again after lunch. So just enough time for a lunch glass of red. ![IMG_20171123_130331.jpg](http://ift.tt/2jiASnQ) We ...

Countdown to my First Marathon - 126 days to go [4/50 #fiftyrunstillmay]

It’s Saturday This Means Parkrunday I usually love doing Parkrun but today I wasn’t feeling it. It was very cold and I really struggle with my breathing when it’s so cold. The run is supposed to start at 9am but because some of the paths were icy we had to wait whilst the volunteers gritted them. Which made me feel even colder! Today was my 48th Parkrun, I was hoping to get my 50th run before the end of the year as it’s a big milestone at Parkrun even though there are 2 more Saturdays this year I’ve got to work both of them so I’m a bit gutted! My run was sort of part of my training plan, I’ve just shuffled things around a bit and it was a little less time than I should of done. I did Tuesdays run today and Sundays run on Thursday as I have a race tomorrow. A Santa dash, only a 5k again. ![D61C3041-6908-443B-A914-247A42928AFE.jpeg](http://ift.tt/2k44t5u) Going back to today’s run, it was a bit of a struggle but thanks to another runner who ran with me from about the 4k mark kept me g...
