Fancy dress

Saturday night my husband and I got invited to a friends 40th birthday party. It was fancy dress! I’m not keen on fancy dress and it was the night before my first half marathon. We decided to go as she is a friend who’ve we’ve known for years and don’t see very often. No way was I staying out late or drinking alcohol, I have trained too hard to ruin it. We had to dress up as this friend made the effort at my 40th party a couple of years back. I decided i’d Go as Sandy from grease as it’s just like wearing normal clothes. As my husband wouldn’t decide I said he needed to go as Danny. We dressed up, got to the party early as I wanted to leave at 10pm. It was great to see our friends and a shame to leave early but there’s only so much water you can drink.
